Synopsis

Years before the Circe shattered, in lands far beyond impassable Rift, darkness is stirring.

Fifteen-year-old Trivia has been owned all her life, branded and beaten, yet not entirely broken. Her people are exiles, scattered to the four winds and vulnerable to the villains, monsters and slavers who can take what they like. Justice means nothing in a land with no more heroes.

Knowing no one is coming, Trivia decides to save herself. To live, rather than simply exist. There's a great, wide world she's desperate to explore, a world that is teetering on the brink of war. With mages, spies and assassins all seeking to turn events in their favour, perhaps winning her freedom might be the easy part.
